Dragon and Dog wash video

Yikes, so that's what I sound like? Oh well. Here is a short video of how I'm using color washes on this painting. I learned a bit from doing the fox painting and am trying to make a lighter colored image. Here's hoping this is useful.

That's really really useful, thanks so much for posting this! It's been ages since I painted anything on canvas. Whenever I'm sort of happy with a sketch or lineart I wouldn't dare to let my sucky painting-skills ruin it so I usually do the rest in "safe-Shop" (PS). Your impulsive but skillful technique scares me a little, then again you're a pro.
Loving the artwork so far! :D

Same here, I'm really used to doing all the color stuff in the computer. It is scary putting the color over the pencil lines, but, you can always retrace over things, so it's not so bad. Plus taking pictures and scanning things in beforehand helps it be less scary! You should give it a try! :)

a video! Thanks for posting this! It makes me want to try painting on canvas. The painting looks awesome, and the progress since this video is amazing.
