Bill Peet influenced drawings

Here are some of the drawings I was talking about. I'm guessing these are 7th/8th grade. Kiiind of embarrassing, but oh well. I do actually remember drawing them. Locked up in an odd room by myself at school on a really nice day. It was fun. I had an odd habit of picking up styles but rarely directly copying characters. I'd heard somewhere that kind of thing was illegal. Probably at the library where they wouldn't let me xerox pages from books.

For contrast, this is the alternate half of what I would draw a lot of at that time. Lots of angry things goring each other. For some reason these always got stolen by boys in my classes.
