tiger moose origins at San Diego Comicon 2009

Trevor drew a tiger bump and then scrawled out a quick shape for me, and so sprang forth the tiger moose.
:) Sneaky Tirzah art! I love.
These gargoyles were inspired by Delshad and Matt's bulldog.

Whats with the quagmire and fauns?

Well, I'm not completely sure. I thought about that question a little bit and this is the best answer I've got.

The fauns are probably coming in because of the influence of Yaxin and the Young Minotaur. They are really friendly to draw and just want to be drawn. I've never drawn much of this kind of creature in the past, so maybe that's also why. A new form to explore.

The quagmire, well I guess that is something like creation. It's nothing until pulled into existence. The fauns encouraged it into life. It hasn't figured out what to be yet. It's just curious and a little icky for now. Sounds familiar.

Bobby, Tirzah, and Trevor finally got to meet Glen Keane and I finally got to meet Eric Goldberg! I think I escaped before he caught me crying, but I'm not sure. :) He drew me a flamingo. Eeeee.

Hanging out with friends and other rad people was to be had again. I got to spend a decent chunk of time with my cuz Delshad and her bf Matt, which was much yay.

Other than that, OMG sooo much art and sooo much money gone because of it.

summoning quagmire 5

If you were wondering, the qaugmire has the consistency and odor of that black stuff when you unclog a sink pipe. It's just a little lumpier, what with all the eyeballs.

If you check out the Settlers of Catan board you can see the water tiles I made for John.

Friday Art Day

Word of caution that this isn't a work safe album.

My friend Jorge came for a visit and we spent a decent part of Friday drawing and painting. Something I'd like to do more of.
