flamingo sculpt

I'm still not jiving on the shape of the beak. There is something about the crook of it that is hard to capture, this bird has a bit of a dodo's proportions. I may draw a few flamingo heads and go back to this later and adjust things. I often need to get a feel for the line work before the sculpture makes sense to me. It gives me a rough draft in my head of what I want to do.

Thanks Shelley!

Danny, I'm hoping to make lots of random animal heads as practice pieces. So should see more in the future. If I can get quicker I'd like to add more detail.
