Gummi Venus De Milo

Hooray for obscure Simpsons references!
I made some tiny gummi venus de milos using food grade silicone for the molds with concentrated gelatin and melon flavored koolaid.

WIP

I decided to start fleshing out the horse sketch. Here's a WIP.

Charr Holiday

This is the Guild Wars card/wallpaper for 2007 that I did the artwork for. I'm not really used to rendering out images, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Of course the more I look at it the more I want to rework some things. For instance, I wish I'd made the color of his belly stand out from the rest of the body color and make the mane a darker brown, like I did on the tail. I was happy to illustrate another side of the Charr personality, so that was super cool.

Beadmaking sketch

I took a bead making course over the weekend. 16 hours of me playing with a blow torch. Bevis would be proud. Not sure why I decided to start drawing myself lately. Maybe I'm just more comfortable these days.

Candy Time

I spent a long time on the couch Friday night eating Susan's present. At one point I was pretending to nom on this like a lizard trying to swallow prey... Much energy was exerted, but then I was full of sugar and needed to draw.

On a non art note, everyone who maybe slightly likes corn nuts should try some CORNIC CRISPY ROASTED CORN! It's cheaper tastier and doesn't destroy your teeth with hardness, instead it is light and fluffy and crunchy. The chunks of garlic are extra yummy too.
